I have always been an avid photographer, going back to the days of 35mm film, eagerly awaiting the images coming back from the developers, or watching them come to life in a tray of chemicals in a homemade darkroom.
Being a fan of technology and gadgets, I was seduced into buying a succession of digital cameras. The photographs got a bit better over time but I have to admit, mainly through the law of averages. In 2016 took the plunge and signed up to a series of photography courses with Ion Paciu.
The courses were transformational, both in terms of the knowledge gained and, through the infectious enthusiasm of the tutor, Ion Paciu, ignighting a passion for photography that I didn’t fully realise I had.
Many years and tens of thousands of photographs later, I'm still shooting and developing my craft. I'm always looking out for the next project or challenge. In particular, I'm interested in charitable/volunteer organisations or up and coming bands/acts that would benefit from some photography but can't afford a commercial photographer.
